Venue hire

We are happy to hire our halls beside St Stephen’s Church and we welcome enquiries from those who would like to hire space for community activities or events whether on a regular or one-off basis.

Our hall address is St Stephen’s Church Hall, Park Avenue, Enfield, EN1 2BA. The hall at St Mark’s is not currently available for hire.

FAQ

What is the minimum time allowed for booking a hall?

We hire out our halls for a minimum of four hours and can not accommodate for anything less.

Am I allowed time to set up and clear away before and after my booked time?

The hours of hall hired must include set up and  tidy down and the halls must be vacant by the end of your booked time.

Can I access the hall before my booked time?

The halls will be opened from the start of your booking, if you wish to set up the space prior to your booking you must add additional hours on to your hire time. The halls will not be opened any earlier or later than the agreed and paid for times.

Do you require a deposit for hiring a hall?

Please note there is £15 contribution towards cleaning cost and between a £50 and £100 refundable deposit based upon the size hall being hired. Refunds are dependent upon the premises left in like for like condition.

Can I use a bouncy castle for my child's birthday party?

Yes you may. Please note, only our Large Hall has the space for a bouncy castle. You must ensure the company you are hiring the bouncy castle from has adequate liability insurance.

How many tables and chairs are available?

We have 20 tables 6ft x 2.5ft, large enough to seat 6 or 8 people, and around 150 chairs in total spread between the three rooms. Please be aware that if there is more than one booking at the same time in different rooms not all of the chairs and tables will be available.

Is there a car park available?

Yes there is. Please be aware that should other rooms be booked at the same time not all car parking space will be available. You may park in local roads.

Can I book a party to end at midnight?

All bookings must end by 11pm. Parties should begin to wind down by 10.30pm the latest to allow time for guests to leave. We do request that people leave the premises as quietly as possible in consideration for our neighbours.
